Hmm, there has to be a joke in here somewhere..

How many chefs and winemakers does it take to change a light bulb? The answer is…..we still don’t know, but it must be more than one of each.Flintand I decided to try to change the light bulbs in the cheese case the other day. Sounds easy, but trust me, it wasn’t. The back one was easy enough to change, but even with a new bulb it didn’t work. The front bulb is almost impossible to get to unless you are a contortionist with 4 foot long arms. Since neither of us happens to possess those traits,Flinthad the great idea of taking off the glass front of the case. This included taking out over a dozen screws whileFlintpushed from the inside while I tried prying it off from the front. The only thing that happened was a slight cracking noise from the plastic casing.

At this point we were getting a bit frustrated. Since neither of us wanted to quit yet we decided to each take a side from the back and try to twist our arms and hands into the top front of the case. Success at last!!! Teamwork paid off…..or did it? Nope, the lights still don’t work. For now my cheese will remain in the dark, hopefullyFlint’s diagnosis of a faulty ballast is correct.
